I finished Dolce & Gabbana leopard skirt. When I saw this fabric first time, I felt kinda disgust with the print and the color. But I have it in hand for some reason. What made my feeling change? I still don't know... I also made this plain black jacket which is suitable for any other skirts I have. I had been wanting a jacket like this. So I'm happy to have one in this timing. For this jacket, I bought a big and really fancy button. It costed me a lot. But I couldn't resist... because you know, it perfectly suits the jacket!

Hello readers! I'm happy to be able to post this Missoni dress cos I've been busy with my work and I'm always eager to make my clothes. So I quickly made this ensemble up. Do you see how much I added gather to this skirt? It's quite a lot. Cos the bottom width (f+b) is 220cm and this skirt doesn't even have side seams. The body and bolero is wool knit. This is the same fabric as Hand stitched knit suit I made before. Ok, I will get started next one soon. It will be with D&G, I think. Thank you for stopping by!

I got really cute pincushions from my mom's student in her sewing class! She made many of these for us and her classmates. A plastic bottle cap is used for the base, and Chilimen fabric is used for the cushion. (Chilimen is one of Japanese traditional fabric and often used for Kimono.) When I was taking pictures of these, a good (or maybe silly) idea came into my mind. The photo on the bottom, that is it! It's a pincushion ring! Funny? The part of the ring is just a elastic tape. I tired it on anyway but it didn't disturb hand work so much. I think it's useful. You want one?

I'm always so excited about the fabric bargain sale called Sofia which is held once every six months. But this time it wasn't really what I had expected. Having said that, I got a terrific bargain on an Italy wool fabric. Amazingly, it's 95% off! Yay! And I bought hairy knit at a good price as well. Would I be satisfied with only two? Of course not! So I ended up buying some other regular priced fabrics I had eye on... Glitter jacquard, D&G animal print wool and Missoni wool knit, that's all I bought this time. Wow, I have many fabrics to make! I'm so eager to make but I've been very busy with my work lately... I want more hours in a day! Really..

Hello there! What's the weather like over there? It's still hot in the daytime here in Japan but I can SMELL autumn a bit! So I was dragging some of wool material out of my fabric case. "No way, I don't want to touch it YET!" Anyway, it's still hot and this is what I made this time. It's heart embroidered 100% polyester fabric like cotton lawn touch. Who could ignore this fabric in a shop? Absolutely cute, isn't it? I have left some to make a skirt or something. Maybe I'll show you it next summer. lol

|Alaia's wonderful dresses|
Azzedine Alaia is just amazing! His clothing grabs my heart and doesn't let go. If I were rich, I would be wearing his dress now... But I can sew! Then I chose to make this flare skirt that Victoria Beckham was wearing before. I used ladder lace between tiers. I managed to buy this lace on the internet. (I thought this lace was everywhere but it wasn't!) I also made this top with ruffle sleeve and grosgrain ribbon belt. I should have added more flare to the skirt but I really love it!

So, what do you think of this cotton fabric? It was really cheap. I love bargain!! So I bought lots of this plain fabric to make a jacket too. I will make it some other time. I finished this dress ensemble pattern 2. Is this Chanel fabric? Yes, only for the piping! I know that this no longer looks Chanel but I didn't want to waste its leftover. As for me, I like this one more than previous pattern 1 which is very CHANEL. As I said, I have bought this black knit again. Oh..my fabrics have begun piling lately. Are you a sewing person? Then, wouldn't you be like me?

I got this glitter Chanel fabric from my mom a couple months ago and I had been thinking what to make. Then I bought this black cotton knit. This cotton is called supima. I looked into the internet what supima was. "Pima" is the name of a Native American tribe and they first time tested the growth of the cotton seeds. "su" is short for "superior". Yes, supima is the finest cotton! Did you know that? Anyway, I got this knit, and Chanel... then decided to make this ensemble. I really really like this cotton. I think I should buy more!

Unlike yesterday noisy night, tonight is so calm, cooler and easy to spend. A big typhoon was about to hit last night but it strayed from here. Phew, that was close. OK, today, I'd like to show you this darling dress. This is cotton jacquard my sister gave me as left-over. Just take a look at the flowery motifs. I made lots of different size of petals with hand stitch and stitched them one by one. How lovely! This is gonna be one of my favorite dress for this summer!!
